Marta and Linda’s father has gone abroad to earn a living, and their mother has to attend a course in the city, so the sisters need someone to look after them. For that they have their dictatorial spinster aunt Una, who desperately wants to get married. Meanwhile, Marta is working hard to get a promised puppy, but her aunt strongly despises dogs, so relations between the girls and their aunt become tense. The sisters try to figure out how to help their aunt get married so they can be rid of her.
The film has been shown at over 19 film festivals and won numerous awards, including best picture.
