Dr. Krišjānis Kariņš bija Austrālijas latviešu
centros 2011. gada novembrī un piedalījās 18.
novembra Latvijas neatkarības proklamēšanas svētkos.
Dr. Krišjānis Kariņš was in Australia visiting
all the major Latvian centres to participate in
the 18 November commemoration of the Latvian declaration
of independence in 1918.
The Xylem Trio
from Latvia toured Australia in Nov. 2011 and played
at the 18th November Independence Day commemoration
as well as presenting concerts in Sydney, Canberra,
Melbourne and Adelaide.
Ivars Štubis, Ella Mačēna, Pēteris Ikaunieks performed musical
items, Jānis Dunnicliff spoke about his European journeys
